Rangers have submitted an appeal against the two-match touchline ban received by assistant manager Ally McCoist following the volatile Scottish Cup tie against Celtic.
McCoist received the automatic ban after being charged with misconduct by the Scottish Football Association following a confrontation with Celtic manager Neil Lennon, who was also charged.
Rangers announced their appeal late this afternoon and the SFA confirmed they had received the documents before the 5pm deadline.
