Lennon draws on Celtic fightback

Neil Lennon walked up the tunnel at Kilmarnock at half-time on Saturday fearful of his future as Celtic manager, but is now hoping that the season had taken a turn in his club’s favour.

Celtic fought back from three down at Rugby Park to draw 3-3 and Lennon would like it to mark an upturn in his side’s stuttering form. “I want the players to use that to their advantage,” he said. “Winning football games is hard and winning championships is a very difficult thing to do.

“You have to go through hard times in games, rough patches where you have to dig deep and find a little bit more.” Celtic are 10 points behind Scottish Premier League leaders Rangers, who were held 1-1 at home by St Mirren. “It's definitely disappointing,” said Gers defender Steven Whittaker.
