Arsenal news: Danny Welbeck and Aaron Ramsey close to first-team returns, says Arsene Wenger
Gunners duo are both set to return to training, confirms manager ahead of Manchester City clash

Danny Welbeck is closing in on his Arsenal comeback as Arsene Wenger revealed the forward is a week away from returning to training.
Welbeck has been sidelined for seven months with a knee injury but is now nearing his recovery following surgery.
Wenger revealed in Friday's press conference ahead of Sunday's clash with Manchester City that the forward is closing in on his return, although reiterated the striker will need time to return to full fitness.
“He is one week away from completing normal training to be back in the squad,” Wenger said. "To be back in the squad, that will take some time because he hasn't played for a long, long time."
Midfielder Aaron Ramsey is set to miss a third successive game with a hamstring injury, but Wenger confirmed the Welshman is close to a return.

“Ramsey is not back. He is the closest. We have some knocks and bruises but they should all be available again,” Wenger said.
