Jamie Carragher believes it would be a "travesty" if this Tottenham team end the season empty handed.

Mauricio Pochettino's men are in red hot form with the hugely impressive win over Bournemouth on Saturday a seventh on the spin.

They take that form into a FA Cup semi-final with Chelsea this weekend hoping to stay on course for a first trophy in nine years.

Pochettino has his side firmly in the title race too and Sky Sports' Carragher says they cannot let this golden run end without any silverware.

"We are thinking about the league but if I'm in Tottenham's shoes, this week is all about the FA Cup and the chance for this team to get a trophy," he said on Monday Night Football.

"This team is too good not to win things. We have watched them for two or three years and we love watching them. We want to see them do well.

"They've got young English players and for the manager, it would be a travesty in two or three years' time if this team haven't won something.

"They have to go and win that FA Cup."
