Manchester City supporters were last night treated to a sight not seen for 294 days – Carlos Tevez celebrating a goal.

The Argentine, who last found the net against Stoke City in May, scored the equaliser as City beat Bolton Wanderers 3-1 in the Manchester Senior Cup semi-final, in his first public appearance since September.

The 28-year-old was later replaced by Filippo Mancini, son of the first-team manager, Roberto.
