£59.7m British record signing Angel Di Maria is on the United bench, as is on loan Radamel Falcao.
Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has made two changes, including bringing in Pablo Zabaleta and James Milner for Bacary Sagna and Edin Dzeko.
