Manchester City and Liverpool linked with Canales

Racing Santander president Francisco Pernia has revealed there is a loan back agreement in place should rising star Sergio Canales leave El Sardinero this month.

Real Madrid, Manchester City and Liverpool are reported to be queuing up to sign the teenage starlet following his rise to prominence this season.

The 18-year-old has five La Liga goals to his name this term and Pernia expects to see that haul grow even if Canales signs for another club.

Speaking about an agreement he has with Canales' father and agent, Angel, he explained: "It is a condition that they have made and without which the deal cannot happen because everyone would think he should remain here."

Meanwhile, Pernia has denied suggestions that Real Madrid have already made an offer for the talented teenager.
