Porto maintain there has been no formal bid from Chelsea for their highly rated striker Hulk.

The 25-year-old Brazilian was expected to head to Stamford Bridge this summer for £30m. But the Porto president, Pinto da Costa, yesterday dismissed the transfer talk as "rumour".

"There have not been any offers made to Porto," he said. "That is the truth, despite what the papers say about Chelsea and Paris St-Germain."
