Fantasy football scout tips gameweek 27: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Sadio Mane and more

How many of our picks are in your team?

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Our first blank gameweek of the campaign is upon us and man of the moment Sergio Aguero is one of the many victims, with Manchester City in League Cup action.

Many Aguero owners will choose to stick, given City’s run of fixtures to come, but others will twist in search of points this weekend.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang appears to be the go-to alternative. The Arsenal front-man faces Southampton at the Emirates.

Ricardo Pereira

Leicester are among the more frustrating and unpredictable top-flight sides in fantasy terms but their fixtures over the coming months are favourable.

In defence, there is a choice between two moderately-priced full-backs who offer attacking potential in Ben Chilwell and Ricardo Pereira.

Pereira is our tip, though both are viable options at home to a Crystal Palace side that has leaked goals on the road.

Sadio Mané

This first blank gameweek will not be the last. Another is around the corner in gameweek 31 and it will pay to start planning now.

Liverpool are one of the few top teams to play in GW31, away to Fulham, and stocking up on their assets now make sense.

Though wasteful in midweek against Bayern Munich, Sadio Mané is the most in-form member of Liverpool’s front three and could ask questions of Manchester United on Sunday.

Martin Dubravka

There are few safe bets in fantasy football, but Huddersfield Town struggling to score away from home - with just eight goals to their name all season - is one of them.

This weekend, the top-flight’s bottom club visit St James’ Park, where Newcastle United will be confident of keeping a clean sheet.

If your side is in need of a new goalkeeper, Martin Dubravka has potential for points, particularly with Burnley visiting next time around.

Felipe Anderson

It has been a difficult few gameweeks for Felipe Anderson, who was flavour of the month around Christmas but has since blanked in six of his seven outings since.

Patience is wearing thin with the midfielder, but he may be able to earn himself a reprieve this weekend against Fulham.

Claudio Ranieri has done little to shore up Fulham’s defensive issues and Anderson could profit at the London Stadium.

Honourable mentions: Ben Foster, Fabian Schar, Alex Iwobi, Harvey Barnes, Bobby Reid.
