Crystal Palace vs Arsenal team news: Jack Wilshere returns to the bench as Arsene Wenger makes four changes

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has welcomed Jack Wilshere back to the bench for the first time since 22 November.

The English midfielder has been out with an ankle injury since the defeat to Manchester United but could play a small part at Selhurst Park.

Wenger has made four changes to the team that beat Middlesbrough in the FA Cup last week, with first-team regulars David Ospina, Per Mertesacker, Nacho Monreal and Francis Coquelin returning.

Wojciech Szczesny, Kieran Gibbs, Gabriel Paulista and Mathieu Flamini drop out of the team.

For Crystal Palace, Alan Pardew has made four changes to the side that lost to Liverpool.

Damien Delaney, Jordon Mutch, Jason Puncheon and Wilfried Zaha are the starters.
