Chelsea injury news: John Terry and Pedro will miss Stoke clash

Chelsea will again be without captain John Terry for the clash against Stoke City on Saturday afternoon.

It will come as a huge blow for the Blues who face a potentially season defining game against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.

Terry, who is out with a hamstring injury, will still hope to play in that game at Stamford Bridge, but having not played since 13 February he is unlikely to be fully fit to face the would-be French champions.

The Chelsea skipper hasn't trained with the first-team this week and will have to prove his fitness ahead of next week's second leg; vice-captain Branislav Ivanovic and Gary Cahill will continue at centre-back.

Spanish winger Pedro is also unavailable, confirmed interim manager Guus Hiddink, while Radamel Falcao is a long-term concern.

Alexandre Pato could make his debut.

The on-loan Brazilian is yet to play for the Blues, despite being at the club for more than a month.

He made the substitutes bench against Norwich City in midweek but wasn't used by Dutchman Hiddink.
