Chris Coleman is to enlist the Fulham academy coach Kit Symons in his back-room staff after he becomes Wales manager next week.

Symons, a former Fulham team-mate of Coleman, played for Wales between 1993 and 2004. "He's doing a great job with Fulham at the moment, with the under-18s," Coleman said. "They are top of their league. He's highly thought of at Fulham."
