Huddersfield Town have sacked their manager, Simon Grayson, following the club's recent slide down the Championship table.
Grayson took the club up via the play-offs last May and his side began the current campaign well, but they have not won any of their last 12 league matches. The Huddersfield chairman, Dean Hoyle, said: "We will now seek to recruit a new first-team manager who can, in the short term, lead and reinvigorate the team and players for the remainder of this season."
