The Independent was unable to provide coverage of last night's Championship game between Hull City and Blackpool.

This is due to a contractual dispute between the Premier League and the Football League and a media coalition that acts for The Independent and other UK newspapers, including The Times, The Guardian and The Daily Telegraph.

The media organisations object to the leagues' wish to impose restrictions on how games can be reported.
