Gareth Bale made a goal-scoring debut this weekend when he scored in the 38th minute against Villarreal at the El Madrigal stadium.

The match eventually finished 2-2, with Bale cancelling out Ruben Cani’s opener. Cristiano Ronaldo put Real in front in the second half, but one of Bale’s former team-mates, Giovani Dos Santos, levelled the scores once again with a goal in the 70th minute.
