Round-up: PSV see off Turks thanks to Anfield old boy Kromkamp

The Anfield old boy Jan Kromkamp helped PSV Eindhoven to keep pace with Liverpool at the top of Group C as the Dutch side came from behind to win 2-1 at Galatasaray.

Sasa Ilic's deflected strike put Galatasaray 1-0 ahead before Kromkamp's shot slipped through the fingers of goalkeeper Farid Mondragon. Arouna Kone, of the Ivory Coast, then scored the winner with 18 minutes left.

In Chelsea's Group A, Werder Bremen are now level on points with second-placed Barcelona after a 2-0 win at home to Levski Sofia. Ronaldo Naldo broke the deadlock for the Bundesliga leaders on the stroke of half-time, his free-kick clipping the wall and trickling in before Ribas Diego settled matters late on.

In Group B, Internazionale enjoyed a 2-1 home win against Spartak Moscow thanks to a Julio Cruz double. Roman Pavluchenko pulled one back for the visitors.

Bayern Munich's Bastian Schweinsteiger had an eventful night, scoring the only goal in his team's win at Sporting Lisbon before being sent off for two bookable offences.

David Villa scored twice as Valencia beat Shakhtar Donetsk 2-0 and also in Group D, Roma's Simone Perrotta, who was born in Ashton under Lyne, scored the only goal as Olympiakos were beaten at home.
