Styris hits 37-ball century
Sussex's Scott Styris smashed a century from 37 balls to put his side through to Twenty 20 finals day at the expense of Gloucestershire.
The T20 quarter-final was particularly expensive for Gloucestershire bowler James Fuller, whose third over went for 38 runs. The over, the 18th of the innings, started with two no-balls which both found their way to the boundary, before Styris launched a six to make it 16 runs from one legitimate delivery. Another maximum was followed by a four, before Fuller finally produced a dot ball then Styris top-edged a hook that dropped inches short of the rope launching the last ball over long-on for six more.
In last night's other game, Somerset beat Essex by 27 runs, James Hildreth hitting 58.
