Cricket: England set to use third umpire

ENGLAND are set to follow the rest of the world by using a third umpire - who can settle close run-out and stumping decisions with the aid of television replays - during the Ashes series. The TCCB is to run an experiment in two Benson and Hedges Cup matches, but it wants a two-way radio link between the umpires to replace the current system of red and green lights to indicate out and not out.
