Egypt has been rocked by another night of protests with demonstrators calling for the removal of President Morsi. There was also a pro-Morsi rally with supporters turning out near the Rabaa Adawiya mosque in Cairo.

Egypt's leader has rebuffed the army's 48-hour deadline to meet the demands of the people, despite warnings that they would mount a military coup.
