The capture of the Khmer Rouge's headquarters in Pailin on Saturday could signal the end of the once-fearsome guerrilla group as a big player in Cambodian politics, AP reports from Phnom Penh. About 5,000 government soldiers pounded the stronghold for two days before overrunning the base. Analysts had said it would take months to seize.
