The 51-member Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC) said that it had offered to send mediators to Yemen to try to end the country's civil war, Reuter reports from Dubai. The OIC secretary-general, Hamid al-Ghabid, offered to 'dispatch a high-level mission there to assist in the quest for a satisfactory solution to this fratricidal conflict which is devastating Yemen'.
