Dozens of people were hurt and 500 arrested when police in an Iranian town dispersed crowds after senior ayatollahs rejected a reported miracle as baseless, Reuter reports from Tehran. Salam newspaper said the supposed miracle, of which it gave no details, occurred in an old woman's house in Mobarakeh, turning it into a shrine attracting sick people seeking a cure.
