MOSCOW - The Russian President, Boris Yeltsin, and Mr Shevardnadze agreed in a Kremlin meeting yesterday to sign a comprehensive treaty restoring peace in war-torn Abkhazia, agencies reported, Reuter reports. The Georgian leader told Itar-Tass agency the friendship and co-operation agreement between the two states would be signed in September in Tbilisi, after a final round of talks this month.
