MOSCOW (AP) - President Boris Yeltsin has appointed the reformist legislator Vyacheslav Bragin to head Moscow's influential Commonwealth television network, news reports said. Mr Bragin, 54, a former Communist Party bureaucrat, quit the party after the Soviet crackdown on the Baltic republics in January 1991. Within Russia's Supreme Soviet legislature, Mr Bragin headed the committee on mass media and was openly opposed to the Speaker, Ruslan Khasbulatov, a Yeltsin adversary.
