The Khmer Rouge vowed to wage war if the Phnom Penh government refused to give up power to the opposition party that won Cambodia's general elections, AP reports from Phoum Malai. The organisation hinted it would support the winning Funcinpec party but did not endorse directly the election result . The Khmer Rouge boycotted the voting.
