China and Pakistan issued a joint call here yesterday for the US to lift 'unjustified' sanctions imposed on the two countries in August for alleged transfers of sensitive missile technology, AFP reports from Peking.

The visiting Pakistani Prime Minister, Benazir Bhutto, and her Chinese counterpart, Li Peng, reiterated their governments' condemnation of the US sanctions, imposed for Peking's alleged sale of M-11 missiles to Islamabad.
