Erfurt (AFP) - The prime minister of Thuringia, Bernhard Vogel, appointed two ministers to the state cabinet yesterday, replacing members who quit after being accused of taking kickbacks. Franz Schuster, a former minister in the state chancellery, replaces Willibald Bock as interior minister and Frank-Michael Pietzsch succeeds Hans-Henning Axthelm as social affairs minister.
