The Serbian opposition leader Vuk Draskovic, recovering from serious injuries and a hunger strike in prison, arrived in Paris for medical treatment and thanked France as a 'champion' of efforts to have him freed, Reuter reports from Paris. Mr Draskovic and his wife, Danica, were invited by the government, which pressed for the couple's release.
