Fire broke out on a Russian nuclear submarine as it was awaiting repairs at an Arctic shipyard, officials said today.
The emergency ministry said there was no radiation leak, or injuries.
It said the fire on the Yekaterinburg nuclear sub resulted from a violation of technological rules.
The fire started while the submarine was sitting in dock for repairs at the Roslyakovo shipyard in the Murmansk region.
A ministry official said a fire engulfed wooden scaffolding at the yard, but refused to give further details.
The Yekaterinburg is a Delta-IV-class nuclear submarine.
