Yekaterina Samutsevich, centre, sacked her lawyer (EPA)
A court adjourned an appeal hearing for three members of the jailed Pussy Riot punk band yesterday after one of the three sacked her lawyers.
The women, whose supporters gathered outside, were convicted in August for a protest in a church against President Vladimir Putin. Yekaterina Samutsevich, sitting in a glass and metal cage alongside her two band mates, told the Moscow court that she disagreed with her lawyers' handling of the case and the hearing was put off until 10 October.
