AGerman ambassador has been charged with spying for Communist East Germany during the Cold War, Reuter reports from Karlsruhe. The prosecutor's office identified the diplomat only as Rainer M, aged 40. The German media has said the suspect is Rainer Muller, ambassador to Gabon.
