Assuit - Suspected Muslim gunmen killed eight people, including five Christians and two policemen, and shot at a train in separate incidents marking a surge of violence at the end of Ramadan. Police said five Christians, including two priests, were shot dead outside a Coptic monastery in southern Egypt on Friday in the first such attack on a monastery in two years of violence blamed on Muslim militants.
