The International Court of Justice ruled in Chad's favour in a 20-year border dispute with Libya that has caused two wars, Reuter reports from The Hague. The UN court dismissed Libya's claim to most of the 45,000 sq mile Aouzou Strip, thought to hold oil and uranium.
