SAN SALVADOR (AFP) - A Salvadorean bishop, Joaquin Ramos, 58, was killed in crossfire during a shoot-out between police and a gang of robbers at a barricade on the road from San Salvador's airport. The bishop's car appeared as the gunbattle began late on Friday night.
