A man surfing off the coast of Australia has recounted how he was knocked out by a whale. Bishan Rajapakse was left unconsicous after being 'high-fived' by the whale off Bondi Beach.

Mr Rajapakse said: 'I just remember this magnificent whale slowly coming to the right of me, coming for another look. I just felt like talking to it, like a dog'.
