Investigators are searching for links between a bomb blast at a lesbian nightclub in Atlanta, Georgia, at the weekend and two other unsolved bombings, including the Centennial Olympic Park bombing last July.

An FBI official speculated that there could be a serial bomber at work, as police went on the alert once again on Saturday night after an anonymous caller telephoned a bomb threat into the city firestation that had responded the bomb attack at the club.
