Dramatic footage has captured the moment a giant stream of mud and rocks poured down the side of a mountain in China.

The landslide in Sichuan province swept away 28 houses and six hectares of farmland, forcing around 14,00 villagers to be evacuated as the rocks and earth turned a nearby river into a lake.
