Rats on a plane: Family of rodents found in business class on flight to China
Video footage shows health inspectors as they make their discovery

Health inspectors discovered a mother rodent and her ten rat pups in the business class section of a commercial flight to China from Hong Kong.
Video footage has emerged of health inspectors dressed in protective suits boarding a commercial flight which had landed at Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport in Fujian Province.
Inspectors can be seen searching overhead lockers and behind seats.
The ten rats were discovered underneath a business class seat. The mother rat was reportedly discovered on 1 October, the following day.
The aircraft's cabin was immediately closed down to allow a public health emergency plan to be implemented.
Luckily, tests conducted afterwards found that the rodents had not spread any viruses and the plane was later re-opened after it was confirmed that the wiring onboard the aircraft was intact.
