Amsterdam car-free for a day

AN AMSTERDAM court removed the last block to this weekend's "Auto-Free Sunday", when environmental groups will highlight pollution and congestion by banning vehicles from the city centre. The court rejected claims that the event could hurt business or leave residents stranded.
