New York Man strangles girlfriend to death because he was 'angry she stayed out overnight'
The nature of their relationship was on again/off again, according to neighbours

A Bronx man allegedly confessed to killing his 21-year-old girlfriend because he was ‘angry she stayed out overnight’, according to reports.
Angel Esteban Feliz-Rodriguez, 23, is accused of strangling his girlfriend Indira Ramirez-Rivera to death in their shared basement apartment.
Feliz-Rodriguez murdered Ramirez-Rivera on Monday, April 8, police say, and turned himself into the 48th Precinct of the New York Police Department on Wednesday.
According to the New York Daily News, Feliz-Rodriguez said “I had a physical fight with my girlfriend. I choked her. She’s dead.”
Feliz-Rodriguez turned over his keys to the police and directed the police to his apartment, who then found Ramirez-Rivera lifeless, face up on the bed.
There was evidence of blunt force trauma, strangulation marks around her neck, and vaginal cuts.
The nature of their relationship was on again/off again, according to neighbours. “They seemed lovable but then they argued and it was heated.”
Police allegedly frequented their apartment, Feliz-Rodriguez was described as violent by neighbours. He had no prior arrests.
Ramirez-Rivera had allegedly moved out in the past but ultimately moved back in. A friend of hers reported Ramirez-Rivera was considering leaving Rodriguez.
Feliz-Rodriguez has been charged with murder and manslaughter, and being held without bail.
