Kanye West launches 21 pop-up shops across the globe
Stores will sell merchandise to coincide with his Saint Pablo Tour

Rapper-turned-fashion-mogul Kanye West launched 21 pop-up shops around the world on Friday.
The gear will offer merchandise tying in with his Saint Pablo Tour, including t-shirts and hoodies featuring the cities of each location. Back in March, West held a similar Life of Pablo merchandise pop up that brought in more than $1 million over the weekend.
New York City, Detroit, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Chicago, Melbourne, and Sydney are a few cities across the globe offering the merch, which is designed by artist Cali Thornhill.
More than 50 people slept outside overnight to purchase the clothing, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.
West, who recently signed an extended deal with Adidas for his Yeezy Season fashion line, broke the tour merchandising game wide open in 2013 while touring his album Yeezus. He then offered Wes Lang-designed gear including beach towels, sticks, tees and caps at temporary stores.
The rest of the music world took note. Following in Yeezy’s footsteps in 2016, were pop megastars Drake, Zayn Malik and Justin Bieber, who all offered their own unique pop-up shops coinciding with their respective world tours.
