In his speech to the nation on 6 December, President Obama vowed to defeat Isis without targeting all Muslims, which he says would play right into the group's hands.
“Muslim-Americans are our friends and our neighbors, our co- workers, our sports heroes,” he said.
To which Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump tweeted this:
