Watch live from outside a federal court in Miami on the day that Donald Trump appeared for arraignment.

The former US president arrived at the courthouse on Tuesday 13 June, and his not guilty plea was entered by his lawyer Todd Blanche.

Mr Trump is the first current or former US president to ever face federal criminal charges.

Some of his supporters have been protesting outside the courthouse, including a Florida-based chapter of the neo-fascist group the Proud Boys.

At least one person convicted for their role in connection with the January 6 Capitol attack, white nationalist live streamer Baked Alaska, has suggested that he plans to join demonstrations in Miami.

No new mugshot of the former president will be released after his appearance, and he was also spared the indignity of having his hands placed in handcuffs during his arraignment.
