A former policeman who shot dead a radical Basque MP in 1989 was sentenced to almost 100 years in jail yesterday. The court sentenced Angel Duce to a total of 99 years and eight months on charges including murder, robbery, smuggling and illegal possession of arms, Reuter reports from Madrid.
