The husband of a woman accused of plotting to murder him burst into tears of joy when she was acquitted. Stephen Horton, 41, hugged his wife Linda, 38, at Leeds Crown Court. Mr Horton was shot twice in the back in May last year. Mrs Horton - who has moved back to the family home - was accused of hiring a hitman to kill him.
