Two Royal Navy physical training instructors, Petty Officers Stephen Brittain, 34, and Vincent Hall, 33, were cleared of misconduct involving naked late-night Jacuzzi sessions with Wrens at HMS Raleigh training base at Torpoint, Cornwall, in November 1991. No further evidence was offered against them in view of inconsistencies from prosecution witnesses.
