Chris Huhne has spoken about swapping speeding points with his ex-wife Vicky Pryce, saying that 'things got out of hand'.

In an interview with Channel 4's Gary Gibbon shortly before he was jailed, the former cabinet minister added: 'You should accept responsibility for what you do. It was a very stupid thing to do.'

Huhne and Pryce have both been jailed for eight months for perverting the course of justice in the speeding points scam.
