Clay pigeon shoots which forced retired people out of their homes at weekends because of the noise were a major nuisance, Judge Graham Neville ruled at Exeter Crown Court. He dimissed an appeal by George Trenchard, of High Lea Farm, Axminster, against a conviction for failing to comply with a noise abatement notice.
