The Daily Mirror, reported to the Press Complaints Commission along with the Sun, Daily Express and Today newspapers by Prince Edward over long- lens photographs showing him kissing Sophie Rhys Jones, said the pictures were 'harmless', but if they had been 'in technical breach' of the code of conduct, the paper 'would apologise for that and make sure that this sort of picture was not used again'.
