AN UNEMPLOYED man has been charged with murdering Julie Clayton, an Australian whose naked body was found wrapped in a duvet in a ditch near Lincoln.

Denzil Walker, 46, of Hull, Humberside, will appear before Lincoln magistrates today, a police spokesman said.

The body of Miss Clayton, 27, who had been living in a religious commune in Northamptonshire, was found on 6 July. She had been strangled and beaten.
